A new survey of more than 1,000 women conducted by Kelton and sponsored by the makers Invisalign® clear aligners found that looking and feeling confident goes beyond just wanting to improve their bodies. |

The survey found that confidence is key to feeling great when the temperature warms up: |

57 percent of women believe it's more crucial to feel confident in the summer than any other season; this number falls to just 8 percent in the fall; with feeling confident in winter and spring in a near tie at 17 percent and 18 percent, respectively |

93 percent of women would like to improve at least one feature of their appearance this summer. Their body (25%), skin (26%), hair (23%), and smile (18%) are the most important improvements for these women during the summer months |

Among those who want to improve their appearance this summer, more moms than those without kids (23% vs. 15%) and more married women than those who are not married (21% vs. 14%) want to better their smile |

Nearly one in five women say the most important feature to look the best at all times is their teeth |

Women also rank teeth as the #1 feature that most impacts a first impression |

Over one in four (27%) women believe that a woman could shed five years off her looks if she straightened her teeth |

The Beauty Survey was conducted between March 11th and March 23rd among 1,038 nationally representative American women ages 18 and over, using an e-mail invitation and online survey.
