New Sam's Club Adds Value in Glen Carbon

GLEN CARBON, Ill., Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Residents of Glen Carbon, Edwardsville and surrounding communities will get the opportunity to see their new Sam's Club when it opens Thursday, Aug. 29, at 8:30 a.m. at 5 Illini Drive in Glen Carbon. The grand opening ceremony will take place at 8 a.m. on Aug. 29. Numerous dignitaries will be in attendance, along with the 160 Sam's Club associates.

The new Glen Carbon Sam's Club benefits a wide range of shoppers seeking quality, selection and value.

Opening just in time for Labor Day, the club will be stocked with all the items members need for their celebrations. St. Louis sports fans will immediately notice the vast electronics department featuring the biggest and best in high-definition televisions.

Busy parents and those who love to cook will find an expansive array of everyday needs including fresh produce, quality meats and home meal solutions, while office supplies, vending machine snacks and paper goods prepare small business members for success. Pharmacy and Hearing Center Among Amenities
The Glen Carbon club will have a full-service pharmacy where members and the public can take advantage of savings on medications they use every day.

Poole began his career with Sam's Club nearly 18 years ago as an hourly associate. He was most recently Club Manager at Sam's Club in Marion, Ill.
