New Physician Joins Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine
CCRM Expands its Services by Adding Dr. Laxmi Kondapalli to the Medical Team
DENVER, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine (CCRM) recently expanded its medical team with the addition of board certified reproductive endocrinologist Laxmi Kondapalli M.D., M.S.C.E.
Dr. Kondapalli completed her medical training at the University of Vermont College of Medicine where she was the recipient of the Carbee Award. During her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, she received the Michael Newton Award for Clinical Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship and received a Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. From 2011 to July 2014, she was on faculty at the University of Colorado as Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and recipient of a National Institutes of Health Career Development grant.
Dr. Kondapalli's research interests center on fertility preservation, impact of cancer therapy on fertility, and assisted reproductive outcomes. Her efforts in these fields are featured on the Oncofertility Consortium's website. She has authored many publications in the area of reproductive medicine, serves on the scientific advisory boards of multiple oncology groups, and was the recipient of the 2013 AAMC Women in Medicine and Science Professional Leadership Award.
