New Office Managing Partner Named for Ernst & Young's Houston office
The largest Texas office of global firm Ernst & Young, now led by Deborah L. Byers
HOUSTON, June 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Deborah L. Byers, who has led Ernst & Young's Southwest Transaction Advisory Services practice for three years, will become Managing Partner of Ernst & Young's Houston office effective July 1, 2013. Deborah succeeds Charles Swanson, who will continue in his client-serving role in Houston.
Deborah has served in the firm's Southwest Region for her entire 27-year career and brings valuable perspective to the role of Houston Managing Partner. Deborah also previously served as the oil and gas sector leader for Ernst & Young's Americas tax practice and is part of the firm's Energy Center of Excellence based in Houston.
Deborah is a certified public accountant in the state of Texas. She received a BBA degree in Accounting from Baylor University and is a frequent speaker on tax and Energy matters across the country.
