Casino, by The Cordish Company, has chosen to build its operational technology infrastructure for food and beverage utilizing the MICROS Simphony™ Enterprise Solution on MICROS Workstation 5a and Mobile MICROS hardware. Leveraging Simphony's state of the art technology and service oriented architecture (SOA), Maryland Live! Casino can streamline the integration of various applications to accommodate targeted functionalities.

Maryland Live! Casino, currently in development in Anne Arundel County, MD, will be the largest gaming facility in Maryland featuring 4,750 slot machines and electronic table games, several nationally-acclaimed restaurants and a state-of-the-art live entertainment venue. Maryland Live! Casino is scheduled to open in Summer 2012 (pending approval by the Maryland State Lottery Agency). Maryland Live! Casino will enhance the Arundel Mills Commercial District, which currently boasts 3 million- square- feet of retail, entertainment and commercial space, 1,400 hotel rooms and draws in about 14 million visitors a year.
