GLEN MILLS, Pa., Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The new Outback Steakhouse® in Glen Mills will offer a taste of "Modern Australia." The new location at 701 Byers Drive is open daily for lunch at 11 a.m. starting tomorrow. This restaurant replaces the Outback at 561 Glen Eagle Square, which closed on November 3. "We're excited to share our new look," said Henry Dustman, Managing Partner. "We're looking forward to welcome the community with great food, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere."
The new design features an outdoor patio with heavy timber detailing and louvers and screens. Inside, guests are greeted in a space with a tall ceiling and a showcase of spices used in the kitchen. The dining room features decor that accents the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure and leisure of modern Australia. The energetic bar is a great place to meet friends and enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails.
The Glen Mills location will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, November 6 at 11 a.m. prior to the lunchtime opening. To show support of the local community, 50 percent of the Mobile Outback's opening day sales (up to $5,000.00) will benefit the Concordville Fire & Protective Association to help fund training, equipment and equipment maintenance.
