On June 18, 2014, Walgreen Company (Walgreens) announced that its over 250 pharmacies and 35 Healthcare Clinic at select locations across Ohio now offers MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccinations daily without any appointment, in response to the executive order given by Gov. Kasich that enables pharmacists to administer the vaccinations. According to the Company, the vaccinations are widely covered by most insurance plans.
