New Jersey Health Foundation Presents Awards for Research, Teaching Excellence
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- New Jersey Health Foundation honored 19 faculty members from Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine with 2015 Excellence in Teaching and Excellence in Research Awards, which were presented at individual school convocations.
Each winner, selected by his/her school, received a framed award and an honorarium to be used to advance his/her teaching or research abilities during the course of the coming year.
The Excellence in Teaching Awards program was started 26 years ago to recognize the teaching ability of outstanding faculty members. The Excellence in Research Awards program began eight years ago to recognize faculty members for outstanding research performed during the academic year.
