New Jersey 101.5 Preserves Over 17 Acres of US Forests This Year With the Help of Trinity Solar
EWING, N.J., Aug. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Trinity Solar has successfully completed the installation of a solar electric system at the studios of New Jersey 101.5 -- New Jersey's most listened to radio station. This station's dedication to the betterment of the Garden State drove the decision to switch to solar. Their 28kW system will save about 22 metric tons of CO2 annually -- to put that into tangible metrics; that is equal to roughly 17 acres of US forests, 2,373 gallons of gasoline, or 49.2 barrels of oil each year. Of course, all of these benefits are in addition to the tremendous savings in electricity expense.
Despite the challenges of working around the station's broadcast equipment, Trinity Solar was able to design and install a solar electric system that will support a cleaner New Jersey, while helping NJ 101.5 reduce their overall operating costs. "Going SOLAR has been a great experience. Partnering with a New Jersey company, Trinity Solar, has made saving on our electric bill and contributing to making our environment better and easy thing to do," states New Jersey 101.5 General Manager, Lorenzo Caldara.
There are a number of solar companies operating in New Jersey, but when it came time for NJ 101.5 to select their partner, Trinity Solar was top of the list. Trinity Solar's New Jersey roots and strong family values made the company attractive, however, the fact that they've installed more systems across New Jersey than the next several competitors combined (NJBPU) made them the best team for the job. "We are proud to provide clean, affordable, renewable energy to THE number one news source for New Jerseyans. A New Jersey fixture, such as this station, making the switch to solar is a testimony to the value of solar in the Garden State." -- Tom Pollock, CEO, Trinity Solar
