New ISO 55000 Workshop to be Held at SMRP's 20th Annual Conference
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) 20th Annual Conference, expected to gather more than 1,000 attendees, will be offering a half-day workshop: "Preparing for ISO 55000's Global Impact" at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, Fla., October 15, 1-5 p.m. ISO 55000 is the series of international standards for asset management.
As the premier asset management resource, SMRP will bring ISO 55000 to the forefront and prepare maintenance and reliability professionals for the future of the standards. Instructors will include Ramesh Gulati, Asset Management and Reliability Planning Manager of Arnold Engineering Development Center/Aerospace Testing Alliance, Terrence O'Hanlon, CEO/Publisher ReliabilityWeb.com, and Tim Goshert, Principal of GPAllied. The interactive ISO 55000 workshop will cover ISO 55000 standards, the process for developing standards, and a global view of asset management.
