New Hooters Location Arrives in Albany, New York

ALBANY, N.Y., June, 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hooters, the well-known restaurant chain which features a casual beach-theme atmosphere, signature chicken wings and service provided by the All-American cheerleaders, is opening its newest location in Albany (Colonie), New York on June 17, with a VIP Celebration on June 16th to include a 100,000 Chicken Wing Giveaway.

A grand opening VIP celebration will be held at the Hooters of Albany location on Thursday, June 16th at 70 Wolf Road, Colonie, NY, and will include a pyrotechnic display from world renowned "Fireworks by Grucci"; who have performed during various celebrations in New York City and ceremonies at the Beijing Olympics.

In addition to the VIP party, the Hooters of Albany will celebrating the grand opening with the first of its kind "100,000 chicken wing giveaway". Hooters of Albany will be giving away free chicken wings for a year to the first 200 people who arrive in the parking lot at 9:00 PM on June 16th to claim their prize.

A portion of the proceeds from the Hooters of Albany VIP Celebration will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Since the inception, Hooters has donated over $8 million to causes nationwide through HOO.C.E.F, the Hooters Community Endowment Fund.
