As a board-eligible, fellowship-trained surgeon, Dr. Rachel's expertise includes the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of a broad range of hand, wrist and elbow injuries and conditions.

After receiving his undergraduate degree at the University of South Alabama, Dr. Rachel completed his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Ala. He then received additional training as an orthopaedic surgery resident at the University of Tennessee—Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Memphis, Tenn. Dr. Rachel is also an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
