New Foley Hoag Blog "State AG Insights" to Focus on Issues Ranging from Consumer Protection to Energy to Data Privacy

BOSTON, July 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Foley Hoag LLP recently launched a new blog focusing on attorney general investigations. Titled "State AG Insights," it is authored by a team of lawyers with decades of experience in the Massachusetts Attorney General's office.

The blog debuted on July 2, 2015 and appears at www.stateaginsights.com. Its content will analyze attorney general enforcement actions and policy decisions on a wide range of topics, such as consumer protection; unfair trade practices; false advertising; public charities; false claims; healthcare and securities fraud; energy; data privacy; and wage and hour standards. 

Primary writers will include Foley Hoag lawyers who previously served in various roles with the Massachusetts attorney general's office and are members of the firm's State Attorney General Investigation Practice. They are:

• Martha Coakley – counsel and former Massachusetts Attorney General. Her practice includes healthcare, energy, litigation, white collar crime, and data privacy and security.
• Kevin Conroy – partner and former deputy Attorney General. His practice includes energy, litigation and white collar crime, as well as nonprofit and tax exempt organizations, advertising and marketing, labor and employment.
