New Executive Talent Joins Location3 Media
Denver digital agency continues growth with industry leaders joining the team.
DENVER, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Location3 Media recently welcomed two new leaders to the rapidly-growing team. Vice President of Technology Dave Witonsky and Director of Client Services Kate Julian both bring years of experience and a passion for digital marketing to an agency that experienced a 37 percent growth in revenue from 2012 to 2013.
"Dave and Kate represent the vision we have for Location3 Media's continued growth over the next five years," said President Alex Porter, "We are positioning ourselves to provide unparalleled digital marketing technology solutions along with the kind of service and creative intelligence that only passionate people can offer in this business. There are a lot of companies that do one or the other of those things well, but very few that can do both. We think Dave and Kate can help us excel on both fronts."
Witonsky comes to Location3 with more than 20 years' experience in technology development, beginning with the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. During that time he has gone from writing code to leading complex development projects with expansive teams. Witonsky specializes in mobile development, enterprise software development and Software-as-a-Service (Saas) platform architectures. In 2009 while at Intermap Technologies, he initiated and led a team that designed and implemented a new product for the Apple iPhone. The application itself won the Apple Design Award for "Best iPhone Application OS Beta 3.0".
"I find digital marketing very intriguing from an analytics and business intelligence perspective. My goal is to build a technology platform that leverages data analytics to gain insight into our clients' business needs and provides comprehensive solutions," said Witonsky.
Julian has 14 years of experience working in agencies across the nation including Omnicom in Chicago and FCB in New York. As a senior vice president at FCB she had her first taste of integrating digital with traditional advertising strategies and realized it was the path she wanted to follow. Before joining Location3, Julian also managed both the online and offline strategies for active lifestyle brand Oakley at another Denver agency.
Julian chose Location3 over other offers because of the agency's long tenure in digital marketing and the loyalty demonstrated by team members who have been with the organization for 10, 12 and 15 years.
"I hope to strengthen existing client relationships and foster new ones while furthering Location3's first-rate reputation in the industry," said Julian, "We are going to expand our service offering with a unified, integrated approach. Current clients are aware of what we can accomplish with one service, but we hope to earn the opportunity to show them how much more effectively we can build their brand when operating across multiple channels. Location3 has always had exceptional data capabilities but we're reinvigorating the human component that can bring the science of digital marketing to life."
Witonsky and Julian are two of the 12 new team members who have joined Location3 in the past 12 months. The company reported gross annual revenue of $33.5 million in 2013 and has been listed on the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies for seven consecutive years.
