Entrepreneurs are the epicenter of today's business world. With keen business sense and strong economic savvy, their passion for industry helps them build the largest companies and be on the hub of innovation. Often, the entrepreneurial spirit that drives great businessmen and women originates in childhood. From lemonade stands to lawn mowing to selling Girl Scout cookies, children get excited to see how their hard work can lead to financial rewards. More Than a Lemonade Stand teaches parents, community leaders, camp counsellors, and more how to harbor children's innate propensity for commerce in a camp program that can shape them into the business leaders of tomorrow.
Youth entrepreneurial camp is the perfect environment for cultivating innovation and economic skills in young men and women. More Than a Lemonade Stand offers the tools and resources necessary to build a curriculum to run a successful and highly educational youth entrepreneur camp. Complete with step-by-step procedures and activities that can be utilized for years to come, this book takes the guess work out of the situation and ensures a camp that will get kids brainstorming, conceptualizing, and growing their business sense. The modules included can be used as a total program or can be utilized individually in an existing youth development program.
The activities outlined in Julie Wood's new book are both educational and enjoyable. Campers will get to learn about business and expand their abilities while having all the fun of a regular summer camp. More Than a Lemonade Stand sets the stage for success, for readers and campers alike!
