New Englewood Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Announces Valentine's Grand Opening With New York Jets' Darrin Walls

ENGLEWOOD, N.J., Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A new Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins is pleased to open its doors in Englewood (489 Grand Ave.) on Friday, February 13, 2015. New York Jets starter Darrin Walls will be on-site signing autographs and participating in the Ribbon Cutting ceremony, taking place at 11 a.m. 

Friday's Ribbon Cutting commemorates the Grand Opening of this highly-anticipated Bergen County location off of Route 4 that is reflective of Dunkin' Brands new store designs aimed at positioning the company more strongly for today's sit, sip and surf coffeehouse consumer. In light of the Grand Opening and Valentine's Weekend, the pristine Dunkin' Donuts Baskin-Robbins, situated in a new stand-alone building, will be offering one free donut per customer on Friday, February 13, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The new restaurant will also be providing lucky patrons with a surprise "Valentine" to take home.

"I'm thrilled to support the local business community and charity," said New York Jets cornerback Walls, where a portion of Opening Weekend proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization that is also close to the Owner's heart.

"We're excited to kick off this great-looking Grand Avenue location, convenient for New York commuters," said Dunkin' Brands Owner/Franchisee John Saraj, who has been apart of the Company for over a decade, with experience owning other locations including a sister-store in Teaneck. "The Grand Avenue location is reflective of the direction Dunkin' Brands is going, more inviting, with complimentary wi-fi, lounge seating, music and charging stations."

Patrons will be greeted by a colorful environment, with the use of impactful super graphics, flexible soft seating and colorful accent lighting set against an earth tone environment. Customers of the new Englewood Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins will also find a variety of products that extend well beyond donuts. Breakfast and lunch-time sandwiches, pastries, an array of traditional and specialty hot and iced coffee-based beverages, smoothies, cappuccino blasts, and of course 31 flavors of Baskin Robbins ice-cream remain on the menu at all times. Customizable ice-cream cakes will be available and hand-decorated by the restaurant's in house cake-maker. Its certain many heart-shaped, sugarcoated donuts will be in demand over the weekend as well.
