WASHINGTON, Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Democratic National Committee continued its roll out of "Extreme Aims: Wrong for Seniors. Wrong for the Middle Class", its campaign to define the Republican 2012 candidates, today by launching a new website – GOP 2012: Duck, Dodge, and Dismantle. The new website is Democrats' one-stop-shop for all things Republican in the 2012 election cycle. The website features four new web videos, profiling the extreme records of major candidates Jon Huntsman, Michele Bachmann, Mitt Romney, and Tim Pawlenty.

In addition to the new web videos, each of the nine GOP presidential candidates has his or her own profile page topped with quotes and quick facts, also including an up-to-the-minute repository for blog posts, tweets, fact checks, and videos. As an added interactive feature, users can click on the bobble-heads of the candidates in the top right-hand corner of the page to find get to their profile pages. (While idle, the candidates' heads randomly pop up for attention, similar to the way the candidates say extreme things every once in a while to catch the attention of the far-right wing of the GOP).
Profile pages include such gems as this quote from Michele Bachmann: "Basically what we have to do is wean everybody else off [Social Security and Medicare]." And this factoid about Mitt Romney, "Tale of the Tape: 47th out of 50 in job creation as Massachusetts governor."
The site also prominently features our newest Twitter feed -- @GOPsayWhat. In the run-up to Ames and throughout the cycle, we'll be compiling quotes that speak for themselves in demonstrating how out of touch and extreme these candidates -- and all kinds of Republicans -- really are.
In short, we've created a site that over time will have everything you need to know about the GOP 2012 field and their extreme aims for the country.
And although the DNC launched the campaign in advance of the lead up to the Ames straw poll, the website and the Twitter campaign will continue to define the 2012ers "Extreme Aims" beyond the weekend as they continue to follow the minority of their party to the far-right extreme on major policy issues. For now, it seems their "Extreme Aims" are here to stay and so is this campaign.
