New Championship Title Boxing Series Provides a Puncher's Chance for CBS Sports Network

NEW YORK, Feb. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- "Championship Title Boxing", a new series of live events featuring champion fighters in prestigious title bouts, has announced its premiere broadcast, airing live on CBS Sports. The event is scheduled for February 14th, 2015 (Valentine's Day), and will take place at the new Resorts World and Casino in New York City.

This event is the first live boxing broadcast in CBS Sports history, featuring perennial Heavyweight contender Derric Rossy, as he takes on undefeated Akhror Muralimov in a 10-round bout for the IBF North American Heavyweight Title. In a co-main event, the undefeated Mike Lee will fight Gary Tapusoa in a 6-round bout for the UBF All America's title.

Once Lee competes for the UBF All America's title, he will join ringside commentators Bob Sheridan and Benny Ricardo as a special guest announcer for the Rossy - Muralimov bout. This marks the first time in history that a boxer will fight and commentate in the same evening.
