New CEO to Take Helm of Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS®
SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- After months of diligent search, the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® announces the hiring of new CEO Neil Collins. His tenure will start on January 2, 2013.
Neil has been the CEO of the Campbell Chamber of Commerce for the past three years. Prior to that, he was the president of the Downtown Campbell Business Association, a manager at a large company, and a business owner.
During his time at the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, he implemented innovative and effective programs that doubled its assets, increased its membership, and expanded its newsletter subscriber base. Neil also brought the organization to the forefront of technology, pushing the use of social media, e-newsletters, videos, a streamlined website, and a mobile web presence. He re-invented traditional Chamber events and introduced paperless ticketing.
"Neil's experience and leadership skills in leading the Campbell Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Campbell Business Association are directly transferable to leading a dynamic group as SCCAOR." said Carl San Miguel, SCCAOR 2013 president. "We are excited to have him and we look forward to many years of service from Neil."
