FARGO, N.D., Feb. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Allegiance Software is proud to introduce its new CEO, Rich Aukland. Since coming aboard in December 2015, Aukland has spearheaded Allegiance Software's goal of helping its customers succeed in besting their fundraising objectives.
Before arriving at Allegiance, Aukland was the Sales Director of Premier Services Business at Microsoft. Prior to that, he worked with the Microsoft brand to form the U.S. Services Team in Fargo, North Dakota; Charlotte, North Carolina; Las Colinas, Texas and Sammamish, Washington. He is a North Dakota native with a profound appreciation for the work of nonprofits.
"This is a great company with a tremendous history for commitment to its customers," Aukland said when asked what drew him to his new role at Allegiance. "After meeting the team, I saw how committed they were to each other and our customers. I very much wanted to be part of this team."
Aukland was quick to point out the features that make Allegiance Software different from competitors, including its ease of use and cloud-based capabilities. He also believes in the strength of Allegiance's not-for-profit software because it was created specifically with broadcasters in mind, giving them a stronger product that fits their direct needs.
The new CEO is looking forward to positive changes in 2016. The company has introduced a new account executive model, making sure customers will know who to contact directly with any concerns or questions. Allegiance is also making technical upgrades to cloud-based features so customers will feel confident their software solutions remain safe at all times. Additionally, Aukland promises smaller program and product releases on more frequent schedules.
"Customers need a team that is here for them," Aukland continued. "They need committed partners like Allegiance to help provide the right tools and services."
