WELLESLEY, Mass., Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrew Hertler, MD, FACP, Chief Medical Officer of New Century Health (NCH) was a faculty member at the Clinical Pathways Congress 2017 in Washington, D.C.  The 3-day conference, which started on September 8^th and ran until September 10^th, focused on the expansion of oncology clinical pathways and their increasing influence on patient care.

The second annual Clinical Pathways Congress convened senior thought leaders from across the cancer care spectrum to discuss clinical pathways and their impact on improved patient outcomes, quality, and cost. During his presentation, The Integration of Genomics into Clinical Pathways, Dr. Hertler shared insights about the role clinical pathways can play as a decision support tool in assisting physicians with the selection of appropriate molecularly driven therapy. In addition, Dr. Hertler addressed alternative strategies for the incorporation of genomics into clinical pathways.
