WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Dec. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling, downloading apps and surfing the web on the Verizon Wireless 3G network is now easier and faster for residents and travelers near Harris Ranch thanks to a new cell site in Coalinga. The site improves 3G wireless coverage and capacity in the Coalinga area, providing improved coverage for Harris Ranch Inn and Restaurant and along Interstate 5 from West Chandler Avenue, West Mitchell Avenue, South Colusa Avenue.
Since being founded in 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $6.5 billion in its California network. Nationally, the company has invested more than $65 billion over that same period to increase the coverage and capacity of its network, and to add new services.
