New Capabilities Added to Autotask Endpoint Management

EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., May 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- An updated version of Autotask Endpoint Management (AEM) is now available from Autotask.  It includes several new features and improvements to further extend its unification with the Autotask IT Business Management platform.

Unification with Autotask IT Business Platform

This update of AEM brings important improvements to the Autotask synchronization process. Support tickets in the business management platform now have full bi-directional status, severity, assignment and notes synchronization. The Customer creation process has also been improved for service providers managing large numbers of clients.

Network Management

The new Network Management capabilities make it easier for IT service providers to detect and monitor critical network SNMP-capable devices at client sites. Customers can quickly get new pre-configured monitor components for their network devices for free by accessing the ComStore accessible in the AEM product.

Remote Control powered by Splashtop

The Award-winning Splashtop remote takeover service is now tightly integrated in the AEM platform. It can be deployed automatically and provides the fastest remote screen share experience possible. AEM remote control powered by Splashtop provides a sleek, modern interface designed to perform well even over low-bandwidth connections.
