New Build Fuddruckers Fast Casual Restaurant Joins Existing Luby's Cafeteria On Prime Medical Center Area Site In Houston

HOUSTON, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Luby's, Inc. debuts a 3,650-square-foot Fuddruckers in the bustling Medical Center area of central Houston.  The newly constructed fast casual restaurant, which serves as a home for the "World's Greatest Hamburgers", is located at 2400 B South MacGregor Way and shares a parking lot with a popular Luby's cafeteria.

According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer, "It's always exciting to open a new restaurant in our hometown.  We are particularly enthusiastic about this site, however, which has already served us well with an existing Luby's thanks to its prime location just off Highway 288 and minutes from the Texas Medical Center, Hermann Park, the Museum District, University of Houston, Texas Southern University and burgeoning Almeda Road."

Since 1980, Fuddruckers has been obsessed with making the world happier, one great hamburger at a time.  Grilled-to-order burgers feature always fresh and never frozen, 100% USDA premium-cut beef with no fillers or additives.  Delicious, sesame-topped buns are baked from scratch on-site throughout the day to achieve the perfect combination of crisp crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
