New Braunfels celebrates Christmas with caroling in the caverns, Saint Nikolaus and a Texas-styled gospel brunch

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A new Christmas attraction at Natural Bridge Caverns adds a magical wonderland to the many holiday traditions that make Christmas so special in New Braunfels, Texas. Christmas at the Caverns fun includes:

A sample of Natural Bridge Caverns Caroling in the Caverns, "Journey to Bethlehem," The Nativity Story brought to life inside the majestic cave, the AMAZEn' Reindeer Roundup, a Christmas maze search for Santa's lost reindeer, a Country Christmas Hayride under the stars, the Canopy Challenge, a 4-story obstacle course with a smaller one for younger children, Christmas Village with a musical light show, shopping, refreshments, and a 30-ft tall Christmas tree.

Natural Bridge Caverns in New Braunfels, Texas, hosts Caroling in the Caverns with the entire park illuminated by thousands of twinkling lights and two new, underground Christmas shows, along with several other unique holiday attractions. Christmas at the Caverns is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. with special, Christmas week shows Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23.

Caroling in the Caverns – The songs of choirs resonating through the chambers of Natural Bridge Caverns 180 feet below the surface in an underground world of natural beauty during an hour-long, half-mile journey through Texas' largest and most spectacular cavern.
Journey to Bethlehem – For the first time ever in a cavern, 3D video-mapping projection technology and audio bring to life the most beautiful story ever told.
A Country Christmas Hayride – Ride through a Texas Hill Country ranch to view Christmas scenes and breathtaking light displays, ending at a campfire, greeted by a singing cowboy, hot chocolate and s'mores!
Canopy Challenge and "Flying Elf" Zip Lines – Three activities in one, lit up for holiday fun under the stars. Climb to the top of a 60-foot, four-tier adventure course with obstacles testing agility, balance and strength (Canopy Kids Course available for younger children). Glide on zip lines high above the Texas Hill Country for a treetop view sailing across a landscape filled with the sparkle of Christmas below.
