As Chief Human Resources Officer, Ms. Plousha Moore directs the human resources division of Carolinas HealthCare System. Her office oversees recruitment, compensation, benefits, workforce relations, organizational development, and CHS LiveWELL - a prevention and wellness program, serving more than 48,000 full-time and part-time employees system-wide. Before moving to Charlotte, NC, Ms. Debra Plousha Moore was a Senior Vice President, Human Resources/Organizational Development for Ohio Health. The Ohio Health Corporate University she established has earned national recognition for exceptional customer service, patient satisfaction and associate relations and Ohio Health made the Fortune list of "100 Best Places to Work," three years in a row.
Additionally, Ms. Plousha Moore held human resources positions with Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, Michigan and Franciscan Health System of the Ohio Valley in Ohio. She also served for 10 years as a student affairs administrator and adjunct faculty member at the University of Dayton. Ms. Plousha Moore is a member of the National Association of Health Services Executives and the Society for Human Resource Management. She is actively involved in the Charlotte Community as a member of the Charlotte Chapter of Links, Inc., and sits on several boards including Urban Ministries, the McColl Center for Visual Arts, and the Duke Mansion. A graduate of San Francisco State University, Ms. Plousha Moore has a master's degree in education, counseling and human services from the University of Dayton.
