New "Blue Ribbon" Stater Bros. Supermarket to Open in Moreno Valley

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. is pleased to announce the opening of its newest and most modern Supermarket in Moreno Valley, California on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.  A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held in the parking lot at 8:15 a.m., and the new Stater Bros. North Moreno Valley Supermarket will open for business at 9:00 a.m.  After Wednesday, the new Supermarket will be open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Located at 11875 Pigeon Pass Road in the Pigeon Pass Plaza, the new Moreno Valley Supermarket will bring back a much needed, full-service supermarket for the many residents north of Highway 60 as well as revitalize the neighborhood shopping center where it's located.

This new Stater Bros. Moreno Valley Supermarket will be the fourth location for Stater Bros. in Moreno Valley and demonstrates Stater Bros.' commitment to the Moreno Valley community it has served for over 34 years (since 1979).  The three current Stater Bros. Supermarkets in Moreno Valley are located at 24931 Sunnymead Blvd, 25900 Iris Avenue, and 14425 Moreno Beach Drive.

In celebration of the Grand Opening, Stater Bros. Charities will be making donations to the Moreno Valley Police Department for their Explorer Program; to the Canyon Springs High School Cougar Canyon Regiment, who will also perform at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony; and to the Moreno Valley Public Library for their Children's Educational Coloring Books. 

The new 43,670 sq. ft. Stater Bros. Moreno Valley Supermarket will feature:

• Self Service Beverage Bar with New Coca-Cola "Freestyle" Fountain Drink Station featuring over 100 flavors of soda, ICEE Drinks, Iced Teas, Espresso, Specialty Coffees, Latte and Hot Cocoa
• Full Service Hot Bakery with a full selection of Artisan breads and rolls, plus ice cream cakes, fresh baked cookies and special occasion cakes and cupcakes
