The judging panel will consist of expert innovators in healthcare, retail, media, technology, parenting and design.

Selection Criteria:
- Must be 21 or older to apply.
- The product must be on the market or available to the public by Q2 2016. If the entry is an app, a free app download code must be provided for the judges. Apps that deal with pregnancy tracking will not be accepted.
- Important note for medical device applicants: Medical innovations requiring FDA approval in the U.S. (or the equivalent in other countries) should have received such approval before submitting to The Bump Best of Baby Tech Awards 2016. Innovations that are still in clinical trials will not be considered because the eventual outcome of the trials is unknown.
Method of Selection:
The judges will review all entries to select three finalists for each of six categories. The eighteen finalists will be announced on December 3, 2015 at http://awardsbabysummit.com. Finalists will be notified via email. The same day online audience voting begins and will remain open until January 6, 2016, 11:00pm EST. The winner from each category will be selected through a combination of expert judges, online audience and onsite votes. There will be an additional Audience Favorite award given to one of the eighteen finalists that will be selected from 100 percent of the online audience and onsite votes. The category winners and the Audience Favorite will be announced on stage January 7, 2016, during a special event at the Baby Tech Showcase in Las Vegas as part of CES.
