New American Funding's CEO and President Elected to MBA's RESBOG
TUSTIN, Calif., Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced the election of Rick Arvielo, CEO and President of New American Funding, to serve on the Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG) at the MBA Annual Convention and Expo in Chicago, IL.
RESBOG is the governing body for MBA's single-family residential members, responsible for establishing legislative and regulatory policies and positions on residential lending issues.
Arvielo is not new to participating in industry associations. He has been heavily involved in the future of the mortgage industry through his involvement on the Executive Board of Directors for the California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA) and his participation in the MBA's Mortgage Action Alliance Committee and MORPAC, the MBA's Political Action Committee.
Arvielo will serve a two-year term on RESBOG commencing at the orientation for new RESBOG members held at the MBA Annual Convention and Expo.
