New Age Lies Revealed
Neville Reid uses Scriptural verse, his own beliefs in God and Jesus Christ and his 21 years of experience as a Harvard-educated lawyer to create a powerful contradiction of Neal Walsch's book, Conversations with God
CHICAGO, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- After months of theological debates with his good friend Mike, Neil Reid was inspired to write his first Christian apologetics book titled, They Were Not Conversations with God. He was dismayed by Mike's enthusiasm for and acceptance of the ideas put forth by Neal Walsch's well-known New Age book, Conversations with God, in which Walsch claims that the devil is not real and that one does not have to go through Jesus Christ to have a personal relationship with God.
Reid used detailed Scriptural evidence to support his arguments against Walsch and created an outline, which he presented to Mike during their religious conversations.
That outline has since been transformed into They Were Not Conversations with God. Reid believes that his book can be utilized by wavering Christians, like his friend Mike, who may have become disenchanted with Christianity and enamored with New Age beliefs. He also thinks that it can be of great use to Christian evangelicals, including clergymen and religious scholars. The book is one-of-a-kind, because it is written in a manner that will appeal to theology students and their professors, but remains comprehensible to the average reader, in that it is short and user-friendly.
Reid says that the one thing that all of his readers should take away from this book is that "New Age religion, as Walsch has conveyed it, is not from God, but is rather a deceptive, demonic, gross distraction from the only way to a proper and eternal relationship with God, which is through Jesus Christ."
