Neudesic Pulse 4.6 Enterprise Collaboration Platform Expands Search Capabilities to Improve Knowledge Sharing

IRVINE, Calif., May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Neudesic today announced the availability of Pulse 4.6, the latest version of its enterprise collaboration platform. The new version improves the search experience with a consolidated and centralized search interface that creates a single place for users to locate and share content across the enterprise.

"Now, in addition to Pulse news feeds, which offer the ability to share information and collaborate in real-time, users can leverage a new unified search interface to find and surface knowledge that's created over time."

Pulse 4.6 adds a host of new file sharing features, including the ability to tag, lock and rate files. It also enables users to search files according to name, extension, tags, rating, date and other criteria.

To improve the style and behavior of the user interface, drag and drop capabilities, a unified search experience, and improved status entry were added. Other improvements include the ability to create polls, add detail to questions at the time of creation and share links to file folders.

With Pulse 4.6, users can run multiple Pulse instances on the same machine, which is key for enhanced development scenarios and cloud-based implementations.
