Network Branded Prepaid Card Association Names Brad Fauss As General Counsel And Elevates Brian Tate To Vice President
WASHINGTON, Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA) announces that Brad Fauss has joined the organization as its first in house General Counsel.

Brad is a well-respected attorney with extensive knowledge of the regulatory and legal issues facing prepaid businesses. He has been heavily involved with the NBPCA over the past decade, including his tenure as Vice Chair of the Board this past year. He is incredibly well suited to help steer the Association going forward," said Doug Bower, NBPCA President and Executive Director.
Brad is an accomplished attorney with more than twenty years of experience, most of which has been focused on payments law. Most recently, Brad was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Brightwell Payments in Atlanta, GA. In addition, he previously served at as Senior Vice President, Legal, Risk and Compliance for TSYS Prepaid, a wholly owned subsidiary of TSYS, and as Division General Counsel for Global Payments Inc.
"I have been actively involved with the NBPCA since its inception as it grew into the world class advocacy organization that it is today. When the opportunity presented itself to join the organization as its General Counsel and work full time to promote the use of prepaid products in daily commerce, I couldn't pass it up. I have been passionate about the prepaid industry ever since I started working at TSYS Prepaid nearly 10 years ago, and this new role within the NBPCA allows me to pursue that passion," remarked Brad Fauss, NBPCA General Counsel.
In addition to adding Fauss, the Association has promoted Brian Tate to Vice President, Government Relations. Tate joined the NBPCA in 2013 with responsibility for establishing a government relations function in Washington, "Brian has done a terrific job of leading our efforts to build relationships and educate our leaders in DC on the positive attributes of prepaid cards." Robert Skiba will remain Chairman of the Board.
The NBPCA is the only trade association in Washington D.C. focused solely on the prepaid industry. In 2014, the Association moved its headquarters to the District and added Doug Bower, as full-time executive director to lead the new office.
The NBPCA has also added leading public affairs firm The Herald Group to act as its DC-based resource for strategy and management of policy and advocacy based communications.
