Netskope Granted Box Customer Transformation Award at BoxWorks 2015
Facilitated deployment of Box's secure, HIPAA compliant platform to a leading healthcare organization
LOS ALTOS, Calif., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Netskope, the leading cloud access security broker, today announced that Box, a leading cloud content management and collaboration platform, has given Netskope its Customer Transformation Partner Award at the 2015 BoxWorks Partner Summit.
The award recognizes Netskope's collaboration with Box in facilitating a successful large-scale Box deployment within a leading healthcare organization. The organization fully deployed Box, enabling more than 50,000 medical and administrative professionals to collaborate on patient care and complete critical workflows. With the addition of Box DICOM Viewer announced at BoxWorks this year, users will be able to view and share diagnostic quality medical images including X-rays and MRIs and provide care remotely, in addition to sharing information with payers, researchers, and affiliated organizations.
Netskope enabled the healthcare organization to e-discover, analyze, and protect sensitive content like protected health information (PHI) and patient medical records, all while enabling compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The deployment is among the first and most instrumental in informing Netskope's recently-announced Cloud DLP Reference Architecture, the industry's blueprint for the most accurate, efficient protection of sensitive data in the cloud.
"Box has built an ecosystem of partners that share our values and are dedicated to helping businesses spanning industries become more collaborative and productive," said Niall Wall, SVP Business and Platform Sales, Box. "We're thrilled to recognize partners that have demonstrated success in transforming the way people work by delivering the best cloud applications and services."
"We are honored to receive the Customer Transformation Award at BoxWorks," said Sanjay Beri, co-founder and CEO, Netskope. "This award is representative of the work we have been doing with our Box counterparts around the world to help organizations get the most out of their Box deployments. The Netskope Active Platform enables organizations to standardize on Box by driving usage to Box with automated user coaching, finding and securing sensitive data en route to or at rest in Box, and monitoring for anomalous behavior or security threats within Box and across its ecosystem."
