NetDepot Enhances Customer Web Portal for Data Center Management
ATLANTA, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- NetDepot (http://www.netdepot.com), a leader in dedicated and cloud hosting solutions, announced the launch of its free, dynamic customer portal design for remote data center management. Along with improved navigation and uniformity, the new portal, called Vortex, provides NetDepot customers with one centralized dashboard for remote access to support tickets, account management, billing, user management as well as many other features.
One of Vortex's main features is its state-of-the-art server monitoring tool called GPMON. With this tool, customers now have the ability to receive real-time status regarding the utilization and performance of their hard disk, RAM and CPU. Customers are also able to monitor their application and process status in an easy-to-read, graphical format. GPMON enables users to remotely start, stop and reboot servers in real-time and can perform operating system reloads with the click of a button.
"This revamped portal is free and provides NetDepot customers an advanced tool to manage their data center operations using our highly secure, easy-to-use Web interface," said AtlantaNAP President Jeff Hinkle. "Vortex will be a valuable tool for customers that require a wealth of information at their fingertips, and it will be particularly useful for those that have multiple servers within our data centers."
NetDepot is already developing new enhancements to Vortex, which will be available on future releases.
