NetCentrics Selected to Provide New Class of Cybersecurity Services for GSA Schedule 70
Company among first to provide full range of Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services Special Item Numbers for GSA IT customers
HERNDON, Va., Jan. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NetCentrics Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise IT services and cybersecurity for the U.S. government, today announced that NetCentrics has been selected by the General Services Administration (GSA) to offer the full range of Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) Special Item Numbers (SINs).
Established in support of President Obama's Cybersecurity National Action Plan, the HACS SINs will enable GSA to provide federal agencies with quick, reliable access to key services to help them better address challenges throughout the cyber threat lifecycle.
The services offered under the HACS SINs program include penetration testing (GSA SIN 132-45A), incident response (GSA SIN 132-45B), cyber hunt (GSA SIN 132-45C), and risk and vulnerability assessment services (GSA SIN 132-45D).
"We're pleased to be one of the first companies to offer services under all four categories of GSA's new cybersecurity program through Schedule 70," said Cyndi Barreda, president of NetCentrics Corporation. "This selection recognizes our commitment and leadership in cybersecurity for the Department of Defense, Coast Guard and other government agencies and we look forward to helping more agencies secure their mission-critical systems and information."
Out of the more than 5,000 government contractors on GSA Schedule 70, fewer than 40 are qualified to provide any of the HACS SINs. NetCentrics is one of only 20 companies currently qualified to provide all four HACS SINs. These services are now available for purchase through NetCentrics' GSA Schedule 70 contract.
In addition to the newly announced HACS SINs, NetCentrics also provides a full suite of cybersecurity capabilities under GSA Schedule 70, including: security operations center management and operations; cyber forensics; intelligence operations; and cyber governance, including deep experience in risk management framework.
