Net Access And MASS Communications Collaborate On Hosted Voice Infrastructure Platform
Enables PBX vendors to easily and rapidly implement a data center-based hosted voice platform
CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J. and NEW YORK, Aug. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Net Access, an innovative provider of hybrid data center solutions, and MASS Communications, a leading connectivity and telecom management provider, announced today that they have jointly developed a private infrastructure solution designed specifically for hosted voice applications. The end-to-end solution combines private cloud and storage with last mile private networking and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) connectivity, allowing PBX vendors, MSP's and VAR's to easily and cost-effectively implement a hosted voice platform.
This solution leverages a high-availability VMWare-controlled cluster of high performance compute hosts, with dedicated SAN for storage, optimized for voice processing performance and quality. The entire solution is hosted and managed by Net Access in their next generation Parsippany II data center. PBX vendors, MSP's, and VAR's can port their PBX software stack to this infrastructure, which is connected to the MASS Communication's SIP Gateway providers for voice origination and termination services. MASS also coordinates all last mile local loop connectivity to the end-user locations for end-to-end private connectivity.
"Customers are increasingly demanding cloud-based voice services because of the flexibility, mobility and scalability the cloud offers," stated Net Access CEO Raul Martynek. "We are excited to collaborate with MASS Communications on this unique platform that will provide traditional PBX vendors an easy-to-implement solution to address this demand and help them further differentiate their business."
"Building a hosted voice platform from scratch is expensive and very time consuming," added Darren Mass, CEO of MASS Communications. "Combining Net Access' managed cloud platform with MASS Communications' last mile and voice services provides a fast track for vendors to deploy hosted voice offerings without the enormous cost and complexity that comes with engineering and managing a voice and data network."
