PITTSBURGH, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- NEP Broadcasting has appointed entertainment industry leader Bill Humphrey as President and GM of their five entertainment divisions; NEP Studios, NEP Screenworks, Live Power, NEP Denali and Premiere Entertainment. In his new position, Bill will manage all aspects of NEP's entertainment-focused business, including sales, customer relationship management, business development, operations, and engineering.

Bill brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in the film, television, and broadcast industries, previously working at a senior executive level for major entertainment companies, including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Turner Broadcasting Systems, Ascent Media, IBM and most recently Technicolor.

Bill Humphrey Bio:
As EVP of Business Development and Account Management for Technicolor, Bill managed sales and customer relations for the Americas within Technicolor's Digital Services business unit. There he serviced all major studios, broadcasters, telecommunication companies, digital satellite and digital service provider accounts.
As President of Ascent Media Bill lead the restructuring of the media services business, including the building of Ascent's industry-leading digital services. At Turner Broadcasting, he worked as the EVP of Operations and Business Development, managing network and studio operations for TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Turner South, Turner Classic Movies. At Sony Pictures he was the EVP of Digital Studios, managing the company's global post-production, sales service, asset management and technical operations as well as the award winning High Definition and DVD Authoring Centers.
Bill is a recipient of the Television Academy of Arts and Science Technical Emmy and the Sony 50th Anniversary Project Award. Today he resides in Pacific Palisades, CA with his wife and two children.
