Nelco Enhances Technology For W-2 & 1099 Reporting

Nelco's recently enhanced product line provides developers with a full suite of options, including a new Web Reporting Center and the company's Wage and Information Reporting Engine (WIRE™) – both of which allow software developers different levels of customization to add new W-2 & 1099 reporting capabilities into their own products, without the full burden of in-house development time and compliance expertise.  

The most recent addition to the Nelco Software Developer's Suite is the newly launched Web Reporting Center, which is a fully developed portal interface with complete federal, state and recipient e-filing, printing and mailing services. This application offers software developers a template portal that can be customized to an individual brand's look and feel. One of the most notable features is the inclusion of state reporting and filing capabilities – a time-intensive hassle for software developers to code, as each state has its own specific requirements and forms.

Additional components of the Nelco Software Developer Suite include:

• WIRE™ is an application which takes raw data from any software application and merges it on an extensive library of government-approved federal and state wage and information reporting forms. Users also have the ability to view the forms on screen, edit data, print on blank forms and save archived copies, while developers maintain ultimate control over the overall user experience. The data from WIRE™ can also be e-filed using Nelco's Web Reporting Center or WageFiler applications

• Wage Filer is a fully customizable and secure way for developers to add e-filing and automated form printing and fulfillment to their software applications.
