Nebraska Book Company Names Steve Clemente President And CEO
LINCOLN, Neb., Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nebraska Book Company ("NBC" or the "Company") and its subsidiaries, an industry leader in solutions for the college bookstore marketplace, today announced the Company's President and Chief Operating Officer, Steve Clemente, has assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer.
Given Clemente's extensive experience overseeing Company operations, this change is a natural transition as NBC continues to capitalize on its growth strategy of expanding the college stores and textbook divisions, increasing online sales, and providing unparalleled innovation for the industry.

Clemente joined the Company in 2010 as a SVP of College Stores and has been a driving force in the company's growth. He has focused heavily on expanding the Neebo business, growing market share and developing a campaign to broaden the traditional bookstore offerings. Before joining the Company, Clemente worked for 15 years at Target Corporation, last serving as Vice President of Store Operations, overseeing 82 retail operations in excess of $3 billion.
