Nebraska Book Company Announces New Retail Division Leader
Steven A. Clemente Joins Company as Senior Vice President, Retail Division
LINCOLN, Neb., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Nebraska Book Company announced today that Steven A. Clemente will join Nebraska Book Company as senior vice president of the company's retail division. Clemente will succeed Rob Rupe due to his retirement and assume leadership responsibly of the Company's more than 275 retail store operations.

Clemente is currently a group vice president at Target Stores where he has been employed since 1995. He began at Target as an executive team leader/regional buyer and has worked his way up through the organization including district team leader in both Houston and Louisiana. Today, Clemente oversees operations in excess of $2.5 billion annually. Clemente has maintained an impressive record while at Target, including growth in revenue and profits while aggressively managing wages, shortages and turnover. Clemente is an individual whose personal philosophy and values have enabled him to succeed while also inspiring and leading others. He holds a B.S. in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida and a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University.
