The awards include:
- The Champion Award, an individual award given to a person who brings the most value by virtue of individual efforts. In this case, Teresa Duncan, Odyssey Management Inc. won the award for her efforts to help NEA build mutual partnerships with the dental community.
- Performance awards for the Top Partners and Fastest Growing Partners. These are the NEA partners who exchange the greatest number of electronic attachments throughout the year and show the most growth in their respective categories.
- Innovation Awards for those NEA clients and partners leading the charge in accelerating the use of electronic information exchange amongst dental practices, payers and health plans.
- The Humanitarian Award, bestowed upon the partner that NEA views as going out of the way to provide outreach and services to those in need. This year's Humanitarian Award recipient is Kool Smiles, a leading dental health provider dedicated to expanding access to quality dental care for children and families in underserved communities.
