NCSA Names Southeast Anesthesiology's Tim Gundlach as President-Elect

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists has named Dr. Tim Gundlach as President Elect.

Gundlach has been practicing anesthesiology for more than 20 years, and joined Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants (SAC), an affiliate of American Anesthesiology, in Charlotte, NC in 2006. Gundlach became involved with NCSA in 2007, quickly establishing himself as a leader by attending board meetings and managing the organization's newsletter until he was eventually nominated for secretary in 2012. This year he will be serving as President-elect, and as program director for the NCSA Annual Conference to be held in Pinehurst, NC this fall. 

SAC boasts a legacy of commitment to service and leadership in the NCSA. Gundlach will be the sixth SAC physician to serve as President of the NCSA since the early 1990's. Previous incumbents include doctors Dana Hershey, Art McCullough, Richard Pollard, Richard Gilbert and Wes Robinson.

Gundlach attributes the success of SAC members, both in medicine and in the industry community, to the high level of skill and specialized training readily available to its doctors.
