NCM Online Publishes 50th Web Hosting Review
Milestone reached for leading publisher of data-driven host evaluations and test results with the publication of 10 new cheap web hosting reviews.
NEW YORK, April 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NCM Online (www.ncmonline.com) -- a leader in the publication of data-driven web host evaluations, testing, analysis, and rankings -- has published its 50th low-cost web hosting service review.
Speed and uptime test results, reviews, and ratings for Yahoo!, Namecheap, Servage One, WebHostingPad, StartLogic, Omnis, StableHost, Superb Internet, NetHosting, and FastDomain are now available at http://www.ncmonline.com/web-hosting-reviews.
The cheapest available WordPress-capable, shared hosting plan was purchased from each of the 10 providers. Identical single-page test sites were uploaded to the hosts' servers and subjected to 10-day Dotcom Monitor page-load speed and reliability testing from 13 worldwide locations. The resulting test data was compiled, analyzed, and rated according to a prescribed set of parameters. The results were then utilized as part of the host evaluation process.
In addition to speed and uptime, host ranking factors include: price, ease-of-use, disk space, bandwidth, support, BBB rating, and satisfaction. Eight of the ten ranking factors rely solely upon host data -- minimizing reviewer bias.
"We are pleased to have completed 50 reviews," said NCM Online editor, Patricia Roberts. She continued, "However, our goal remains the same as it was after our first review -- provide our users with the greatest number of options in their selection of a low-cost hosting service."
