ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Since 2008, Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) has provided more than 350,000 Military BibleSticks to this nation's brave men and women in uniform – free of charge.  Distributed through the chaplaincy corps, the small, portable digital device contains a dramatized recording of the New Testament and select Psalms.  The ministry provides this to American service members to help them cope with the stresses of military life – including multiple deployments.

Two years ago, FCBH produced a half-hour video – Bible on the Battlefield – to illustrate the need for this device.  Today, they are releasing an updated version that is hosted by Ryan Dobson and features former Navy SEAL, Chad Williams, and Vietnam veteran, Pastor Raul Ries.

Chad Williams, veteran and author of the newly-released book, SEAL of God, knows first-hand about living under the stress of an active warzone and learned what it meant to lose a brother-in-arms before he even deployed.  Just days prior to reporting for duty, he was horrified to see on television images of his mentor, U.S. Navy SEAL Scott Helvenston, being brutally murdered during an ambush in Fallujah, Iraq.
