naviGATE Expands Service Offerings; Launches Spend Management Practice

VILLANOVA, Pa., March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- naviGATE, a regionally focused management consulting firm, announces the launch of a new Spend Management practice that expands its Business Optimization service offerings. Principal Brian E. Lee and Senior Manager Michael J. Zavertnik recently joined naviGATE to establish this practice area, which helps clients identify, obtain, and sustain cost savings associated with corporate spending.

With over 13 years of professional management consulting experience in business process improvement and enterprise technology, Lee most recently led the Spend Management practice at LECG (previously SMART Business Advisory & Consulting).  Lee's career has included consulting across a wide range of industries and solutions for global corporations; he began his career with Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice in Philadelphia. Lee earned a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the University of Delaware.

Senior Manager Michael Zavertnik, who brings more than 12 years of professional consulting experience to naviGATE, delivers process redesign and enterprise solutions to streamline and improve business processes.  He also specializes in enterprise software implementation and technology integration in the areas of procurement, finance, and operations.  Prior to joining naviGATE, Zavertnik was a Senior Manager in the Spend Management practice of LECG; he started his career at Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame.
