Nautilus Insurance Group Licenses Vertafore PolicyIssuance

BOTHELL, Wash., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertafore (http://www.vertafore.com), a leading provider of software and services to the insurance industry, today announced that Nautilus Insurance Group will license its Vertafore PolicyIssuance product. Web-based and built to ACORD XML standards, PolicyIssuance provides an efficient process for General Agents to issue policies on behalf of their Excess and Surplus (E&S) carriers.

Nautilus Insurance Group, a W. R. Berkley Corporation member company, selected PolicyIssuance to enable its General Agents to have access to their policy forms library, receive real-time policy form updates and improve their General Agents' efficiency via the Vertafore PolicyIssuance integration with their agency management system.

The solution provides an efficient process for General Agents to issue policies, virtually eliminating keystrokes. With PolicyIssuance, data is extracted from the agency management system, and the software analyzes the data based on an underwriting rules engine. Once all the mandatory data is complete, the software automatically selects the required policy forms and merges the data into form sets, totally eliminating the re-keying of data.
