NEW YORK, Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- NATURALLY, DANNY SEO, the new print magazine from lifestyle authority Danny Seo and Harris Publications, has launched to outstanding success. Since its debut in mid-July, the lifestyle magazine has sold out at many retailers, attracted leading national advertisers and won over a new generation of consumers to what the publisher calls "sustainable print." NATURALLY, DANNY SEO, which looks at living the healthy, natural and good for you life with a fresh, authoritative voice that covers everything from food, beauty, travel, home, and entertaining all through Danny's unique point-of-view as America's leading guru of green living, launched with 350,000 copies at a newsstand price of $9.95.
Early sales figures show the magazine is posting strong sales at a range of key retailers, including Whole Foods. NATURALLY, DANNY SEO is distributed at a wide range of retailers including Sprouts, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Safeway, Walgreens, and Barnes & Noble. The magazine is expanding its distribution for the second issue with the addition of new chains and retail accounts.
Ben Harris, President of Harris Publications, said, "We are thrilled with the early performance of NATURALLY, DANNY SEO. In what is generally thought of as a difficult time for print, it's reassuring to see we developed a product that connects with readers. I think NATURALLY represents how we all want to live and Danny has an amazing way of bringing this to life. We couldn't be happier with the results." NATURALLY, DANNY SEO is exploring expansion opportunities including international licensing with foreign publishers, a companion television show of the same name hosted by Danny, and unique corporate co-marketing relationships with some of the most prominent national brands.
"It's simple: America is Naturally in love with being healthy and living green," said Danny Seo, the magazine's founding editor-in-chief. "They recognize not only our gorgeous photography and inspiring, uplifting and informative stories, but the high quality of the overall magazine. This is the new luxury where wellness, great style and happiness are paramount. I could not be more proud to put my name on this magazine."
NATURALLY, DANNY SEO represents the values of its readers and uses a premium recycled paper from Mohawk Fine Papers. "The choice to use a high grade sustainable paper was easy. The overall experience with the magazine can't be matched," says Seo.
In addition to strong newsstand sales, the first issue included major national advertisers including Movado, Nissan, OneKingsLane, Veev, Plum Organics, Wilsonart, Silk Soy Milk, Tru Fragrances, LifeFactory, Whole Foods, Boiron, Call2Recycle, Recyclebank, and FEED Projects among others. The second issue has strong renewal rate from launch issue advertisers, as well as commitments from new national brands like Ford Motor Company.
"We work closely with our marketing partners to create unique brand integrations that allow them to tell their story," says Helene Fantozzi, Publisher of NATURALLY, DANNY SEO. "Whether it's through an event with a charitable angle, inclusion in a television segment, or other creative collaboration with Danny, these on-brand added value opportunities are what make our corporate partnerships strong."
Issue two of NATURALLY, DANNY SEO is planned for November 4, 2014. The magazine's website is dannyseo.com and the social media handle is @dannyseomag on both Twitter and Instagram.
