NATS to Showcase DCIS Win and Olympic Performance at 2012 ATCA Conference and Exposition

NATS, the UK's leading air navigation services provider, will be participating in this year's ATCA Annual Conference and Exposition in at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD on October 1 - 3, 2012.

Since opening its US offices in 2011, NATS has been on the winning consortia for both the $388 million EnRoute Technical Assistance Support Services (ETASS) program and, most recently, the $331 million Data Communications Integrated Services (DCIS) contract.

The seven year DCIS contract, with 10 additional one-year options, represents a major step in the delivery of NextGen.  DCIS will support more efficient procedures and flight profiles through services such as revised departure clearances, automation of communications, optimized profile descents, and trajectory-based operations.

On the opening day of the conference, Malcolm Rae, Program Director of NATS Inc., NATS' US subsidiary, will speak on Facility Consolidation drawing upon NATS' recent completion of its Two Centre Strategy, centralizing all en route air traffic control for the UK and northeast Atlantic into two facilities.
