Nation's Top Creative and Technology Agencies Join Forces to Form Creative Alliance
Organization will support Civic Nation, national social good efforts
NEW YORK, March 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Some of the nations' top creative, technology, design and communications agencies have joined forces to form the Creative Alliance. The collective will support Civic Nation, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that uses organizing, engagement and public awareness to address some of the nation's most pressing challenges, including White House-launched initiatives.
The Creative Alliance's twenty founding agencies include the most dynamic and creative in the industry: Mekanism, Wolf & Wilhelmine, BBH, Matter Unlimited, Republica, Sub Rosa, 72andSunny, HUGE, The Black Sheep Agency, Blue Engine Message & Media, TruthCo., Spark, Chapter, Translator, RPMGRP, Havas Worldwide New York, Big Spaceship, AKQA, Briefcase and Sew L.A.
"Civic Nation is taking on some of the country's most important issues, so it's only right to bring together some of the country's best creative and technology talent to help those efforts," Heidi Hackemer, CEO of Wolf & Wilhelmine, who will co-chair the Creative Alliance with Jason Harris, CEO of Mekanism. The Alliance leverages private and government partnerships to activate communities around change. Current and soon to be campaigns from Alliance partnerships include "It's On Us," the White House's effort to end sexual assault on college campuses, "Stand Stronger," to promote legal residents to become full-fledged American citizens, "Better Make Room," First Lady Michelle Obama's campaign to encourage Generation Z to pursue higher education, "Every Kid In A Park," an initiative to engage and create the next generation of national park visitors and advocates, and "Women's Summit," the first summit of its kind in decades highlighting key issues that impact modern women and girls in the US.
