L. Hunter Lovins to Discuss Sustainability with Local Officials
WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With municipalities still suffering the effects of the worst recession since the Great Depression, municipal officials from across the country will convene in Denver, Colo., to discuss regional collaboration and tips on how to survive and thrive. The National League of Cities' (NLC) annual Congress of Cities and Exposition will take place November 30 to December 4.

L. Hunter Lovins, president and founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions, will discuss innovative and practical tools and strategies to enable local governments to become more sustainable. Based out of Longmont, Colo., Lovins is a recognized leader in helping communities profit from more sustainable practices. During the Congress of Cities, municipal officials will participate in workshops, mobile workshops, general sessions and leadership training seminars to hear about the latest in innovative programs in the areas of:
